Auto Draft

An APL FCU Auto Draft makes the car buying process easy. It gives you the freedom to shop for a great deal, with the negotiation power of a cash buyer.

Members who apply and are pre-approved for an auto loan can get an Auto Draft to take with them to the dealer. It is a blank check good for any amount up to the pre-approved loan limit. Once you find the car you want and have negotiated the best price, simply fill out the Auto Draft for the final purchase amount to complete the sale. The dealer will then fax or email in the purchase order, so you won’t have to return to the Credit Union to drop it off.

• May be used at any licensed dealer (not eligible for private party sales, broker sales, or at auto auctions)
• Good for 30 days from the date of issue
• Extended warranties may be included, provided the final price does not exceed the pre-approved limit
• Eligible for GAP and Credit Life/Disability insurance
• Mechanical Repair Coverage (MRC) Options
